Provided onsite consulting services for an Indian multinational oil and gas company. The client was interested in the third party analysis of an international oil and gas asset. Performed a careful and comprehensive review of drilling scenarios, production profiles, and economic results for various what-if scenarios. The client was very happy with the amount of quality analysis performed in a short timeframe and provided unsolicited positive feedback.

Asset Production and Economics Evaluation Services for India

Coordinated an integrated production surveillance consulting project for a natural gas and oil company with producing properties located in Texas, Louisiana, Wyoming and California.
Co-led onsite a 10-day long project and excelled at developing successful client relationships and managing the project scope. My prior knowledge of Avocet was instrumental in contributing to the discussion of requirements and in a successful implementation and review of OFM surveillance plots based on data coming from a third-party CygNet high-frequency system to the Avocet production operations platform.
Helped configure the daily data load process and integrate Avocet with OFM and deploy Schlumberger software. Reviewed OFM visualizations and reports for injection tracking and production surveillance. Co-authored a comprehensive technical administration guide that was received well by the client.

Integrated Production Surveillance Consulting Project

Conducted onsite a production engineering consulting project for a company that explores for, develops and produces natural gas and oil reserves in California, Kansas and the Appalachian Region including the Marcellus and Utica Shales.
Set up and customized the OFM schema, improved and complemented calculated variables. Applied project best practices. Answered questions on the spot. Discussed opportunities to extend capabilities via the OFM API.

Production Engineering Project Setup, Best Practices Review

Provided Sysco, a leader in foodservice distribution and the largest foodservice distributor in the US, data-driven recommendations to optimize operations for same-day delivery and prepared a cost-benefit framework. Sysco partners with restaurants and professional chefs to deliver food and related products that make great dining experiences. The company aimed to make delivery nimble and flexible, to address customer feedback, capture urgent purchases lost to cash-and-carry, and respond to a credible threat from Amazon. In a team of two, helped Sysco via the Operations Lab, an action learning component at MIT that provides interactive learning in solving operations challenges in various environments. 
Conducted interviews at the HQ and visited distribution and transport facilities, also visited an Amazon fulfillment center in Houston, TX. Prepared the economic efficiency model, uncovered critical areas of value, mined data from the SQL database, performed business intelligence, and elaborated operational insights. Brainstormed recommendations to organize the warehouse and transportation. Suggested medium-term studies to scale up same-day delivery nationwide.

Optimized Same-day Delivery for Sysco Foodservice Distributo

Prepared and conducted a customized in-house training course reflecting the needs of a Japanese multinational oil and gas company. Consulted a team of client representatives and set up a production-operations, engineering, and surveillance workspace to organize daily analysis and collaboration needs of production engineering staff. The client found the training content and delivery understandable and helpful and appreciate bold steps in providing a framework for organizing the engineering workflows for assets within and beyond North America.

Setup Tailor-made Training & Production Workspace for Japane

Managed consulting work for a small-size operator and mineral rights holder in south Texas. Helped the client with an ongoing economic evaluation project for several key ranches and streamlined the organization of data and analysis workflows around production operations, oil and gas forecasting, water control, and petroleum economic analysis. Helped achieve accelerated results by at least two months compared to previous client estimates.

Streamlined Budgeting and Planning for South Texas Operator

The client represented a US state office of natural resources. Helped with gathering requirements around a required forecasting plug-in. Overseeing large conventional brown oilfields with long-term production data, the governing agency was struggling with balancing long- and short-term production trends and was concerned about ensuring an ability to audit prior forecasts. Helped deliver an OFM API based plug-in supporting modified bootstrap forecasting with backward analysis. Investigated the theoretical basis, reached out for programming help, performed studies with client data, and ensured a handover and documentation ahead of the initial schedule.

Administered Forecast Plug-in for US State Office of Natural

Managed a several weeks long production forecast transfer project for a multinational oil and gas exploration and production company with operations in the United States, the Middle East, and Latin America. The client needed to transition from Merak Peep to OFM as a tool of choice for reserves forecasting. Also, the company needed to successfully transfer the historical reserves numbers and settings from Merak Peep to OFM. Ensured that two plug-ins were developed in line with the scope and requirements and performed the transfer and reporting correctly.

Reserves Management Workflow Project

Consulted a client remotely for several weeks on OFM to Avocet project mappings, troubleshooting of data and domain related issues, and analysis of reports and visualizations. Successfully set up production operations surveillance workflows and practices. The client is an international energy producer engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and production of oil and natural gas.
