Simple Users:General users access public materials. E-Books & E-Resources: Subscription-based access for all users. Second-hand Book Market: Enables buying and selling books between institutions and users. Community Chat: Facilitates communication among patrons. Book Reviews: Allows users to review and give feedback on books. This system enhances library operations with better user access and resource management.

Edulib System

Developed a document management and archival system to improve storage, retrieval, and security of official records. This system sped up document searches by 92% and maintained 99.8% uptime for reliable access. Key Features: OCR Integration: Used custom OCR models for Urdu and English text extraction with Tesseract for accurate processing. Fast Search & Indexing: Enabled sub-second keyword searches using SQL Server full-text indexing and metadata tagging. Efficient Document Handling: Used iText to convert PDFs into searchable data. Asynchronous Processing: Implemented multi-threading with ConcurrentBag and Task.WhenAll for high-volume uploads. Role-Based Access Control: Secured sensitive documents with user authentication, CAPTCHA, and session protection. Scalable Architecture: Built a multi-tier system in ASP.NET and C#, separating authentication, ingestion, and retrieval for better performance. Responsive Web UI: Designed a user-friendly interface that works smoothly across devices. This system made document storage, access, and security more efficient, streamlining NADRA’s internal operations.

Developed and deployed a robust Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) system for NADRA’s Outlook Web Access, enhancing the security of 12,000+ employees and protecting sensitive nationwide communications. Architecture: Designed an authentication framework with email credentials, password validation, CAPTCHA, and TOTP-based two-factor authentication via Google Authenticator. Integration: Integrated LDAP with Secure LDAP (LDAPS) for real-time credential validation and synchronized TOTP for accurate token verification. Security Measures: Implemented AES-256 encryption for secure TOTP secret storage and used ZXing library for QR code provisioning. Admin Portal: Built an admin module for user management and QR code distribution via SMTP, enabling efficient data handling. Technical Solutions: Addressed challenges like secure LDAP communication and TOTP synchronization through rigorous testing and validation. Impact: Reduced credential compromise risks by 68%, significantly strengthening email security and improving the protection of sensitive communications across the organization.

MFA Solution for NADRA Outlook

Built a secure internal email system for NADRA to protect employee communications and improve system reliability. Designed from the ground up with a focus on security, performance, and user experience. Key Features: CAPTCHA-Protected Login: Prevented automated attacks with server-side validation. QR Code-Based 2FA: Integrated ZXing.NET for two-factor authentication (2FA) using QR codes. Adaptive Account Locking: Blocked brute-force attempts with a 60-second lock after three failed logins. DDoS-Resistant Sessions: Used sliding expiration for secure session management. User Activity Tracking: Monitored logins and authentication attempts to detect suspicious behavior. System Improvements: Scalable Architecture: Designed a modular and fault-tolerant system with load balancing for better availability. Optimized Data Flow: Improved email delivery speed and system efficiency. Secure Token Management: Implemented strong encryption for authentication tokens

For my database project, I developed a comprehensive TA and Lab Demonstrator Management System using C# and MS SQL. The system features: Student Applications: Students can apply to be a TA or Lab Demonstrator. CRUD Operations for TA/LD: TAs and Lab Demonstrators can manage demo schedules, edit profiles, and provide feedback to students. Feedback Interaction: Students can respond to feedback from TAs and LDs. Role-Specific Dashboards: Three distinct dashboards tailored for TAs, Lab Demonstrators, and students, enhancing user experience and functionality.
