Design and implement a website for a public library in Indiana, Clayton-Liberty Township Public Library, as a practice of the cumulative learning process of information architecture which includes not only the technical aspects of creating web sites, but also practice the aspects needed to make a web site usable.

CLTPL - a Responsive Website Design for a Public Library

Lead the UX/UI design and work with 3 teammates from CS and Biostatistics background. This app is targeted to doctors, epidemiologists, and public health officials who travel around the world conducting medical missions. EpiGlobal provides a disease look-up by geographic region and the number of reported incidents of those diseases. Users can report new disease incidents and share alerts with others when the number of cases exceeds a threshold based on historical trends.

While Instagram performs its tasks quite well, it is not perfect. Our group aims to explore how Instagram can be improved. We did this through the collection of user data through methods such as diary studies and interviews. We then used that data to inform our redesign of Instagram. Finally, we tested our redesign against users in an effort to see if we succeeded in our goal of improving the Instagram experience.

Specifically, we focus on the experience of Instagram from photo-taking to uploading, we didn't try to redesign the whole app. However, we also covered other aspect of Instagram in our following interviews, such as its socialization feature.

Contextual Inquiry and Prototype Development for Assisted Museum Exploration at the Eiteljorg Museum.

In this project, we point examine the way different individuals visit the museum, using our oberservation to draw conclusion on some ways in which mobile computing technology might help to increase the engagement and enjoyability of a visit to the museum. Specifically, we looked at the Eitlejorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art and their patrons.

In realize of the fact that increasing amount of people engage themselves in virtual digital world and ignore their friends/family in daily life, we designed a prototype, aiming to encourage people to socialize face to face, which will intelligently recommend suitable place for offline socialization activities based on users' mutual interest and feature an effective group management function for organization

To indentify and utilize design research methods that enable synthesis and evaluation through understanding people's experience and redesign the experience. In our case, we are going to focus on the experience of Walker Plaza Studio, which is a Lab for HCI students.

The problem space was generated based on the data we gathered. In face of the time constraint, the scope was narrowed as well. Instead of redesign the whole lab, we were going to redesign one corner of that lab, to make it comfortable, foster creativity & collaboration.
