The Untamed Odyssey was a participant of the Peerlist December Hackathon.
Objective: To create a meaningful and engaging educational experience about outer space that will stimulate curiosity and inspire new perspectives. Key Strategy: 1.Gaining insight into global exploration by utilizing interactive scale modeling and visualization techniques, such as 3D simulation or augmented reality, - Taking visitors on virtual tours throughout the solar system and beyond, accessing recent data from space missions and telescopes, and working at various tasks. , make a rocket model, make a scale model) 2.Discover the secrets of the exoplanet through static and simulation tests.Exotic 3D models and virtual reality experiences - including transverse direction and radial velocity – as well as case studies from around the world. Kepler-452b, TRAPPIST-1)- Guest comments from scientists 3. Inspiration: Collaborative research and integrated experiences- Collaborations with experts and researchers (eg , NASA, SETI Institute)- Student research projects and opportunities (e.g. scientific conferences, research papers)- Virtual tours and social science projects (eg Zooniverse, Exoplanet Watch)- Training programs and career guidance Main ingredients: By showcasing the wonders of exoplanets, we inspire the next generation to explore, discover and innovate, creating the future of space exploration and scientific research. Expected results: 1. Increased interest in STEM education and careers. 2. Better understanding of exoplanet science and its applications. 3. Strengthening critical thinking and problem solving skills. 4. A general and pedagogic approach to spatial knowledge.
Exoplanet Explorer is a revolutionary, interactive educational platform designed to make exoplanet education accessible, engaging, and immersive for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. This innovative project aims to inspire the next generation of space explorers, scientists, thinkers, and innovators, fostering a deeper understanding of the universe and our place within it.
Mission:
Empower the global community to explore, discover, and learn about exoplanets, promoting STEM education, critical thinking, and curiosity-driven learning.
Here , we just want to create a website where learners gain knowledge about university, space & planets and experience the virtual reality.
