Marketing and Sales of FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) within the North Baltic duty free, Finnish duty free, border duty free and Baltic DF. My customers included such entities as Finnair, Viking Line, Silja Line, Gebrüder Heinemann, etc. All sales promotion and sales activities in this area were under me and the team of five under me executed tens of activities across our area. We were in charge of brand advertising for brands that had a SOM of 65%+ in the market, so yes, it was very interesting! Working with the most valuable brand in the world was not only exciting but fulfilling and a true learning experience. I immensely enjoyed working with my multimillion dollar accounts in Finland and in the Baltic states. My sales budget was in the hundred millions and my marketing budget in the millions so it is fair to say that this was a position of responsibility and for my time with PM I shall ever remain grateful.

Manager Duty Free, Finland Baltics

Sales development of a promotional activities company with activities in Finland, Sweden, Estonia and the North Baltic ferry traffic. My other main responsibility was new customer acquisition and major account management. My clients included such main brands as Mars, Olvi, American Express, Diageo and excitement was always present in the daily life since new brand launches were the norm and as we all know, when working with established brands, there is no room for error. And none were made :)

My responsibilities at Mobile Avenue covered taking care of sales/business development and contractual matters. We were at the forefront of mobile business in Finland and Finland was at the forefront of mobile business in the world. During this exciting time I had the chance to learn thoroughly the inner workings of a start-up on it's way to an exit, after which I moved on, too. Pushing the limits of what pre-smart mobile phones could do was our business and millions and yet millions of ring tones, games & pictures purchased by our customers proved us right. I was invited as panelist to Musiikki&Media 2005 talking on mobile business in the music industry and I held a Teleforum self-regulatory committee position.

Sales director, partner

Sales to public sector entities such as government, schools, etc. We all know Linux today, but Unisys was a forerunner in providing System V Unix mini computers in a time when the trend to *nix operating systems was being formed. My time at Unisys was learning how to handle accounts as a sales person and I'm in gratitude for the skills I acquired is sales and in IT technology. Unisys gave us massive training in Unix systems and in sales.

Sales rep, public sector

Product manager to a truck terminal system that operates over rf link. Connectivity from a fork lift truck through base station to mini / main frame computer serving terminals. An exciting job in an era when no-one else was doing mobile computer terminals. My job was product development / marketing+sales / product management. My customers included such big names as Neste Oils and RAY (Raha-automaattiyhdistys)

Product Manager

My company does reputation marketing & SEO for our customers in order to bring them more profits and more customers. While the process is difficult to describe in short, it works extremely well and in fact, it should build the basis for all marketing in any company. Why? Well, simply put: without a sterling reputation, all other marketing investments will be for nothing, since your customers will always be faced with your poor online reputation. Without SEO, you don't stand a chance to make it in the age of the internet. Period. And conversely, when you do have a five star online reputation, your marketing efforts will more easily bring in pre-sold leads that convert into paying customers and with a search engine optimized site, your clients will find you so you can spare those marketing monies for something else.

We are working for a better world today. This was the starting point of the business. How to put together companies working for a mutual future and a cleaner future. My responsibilities were to in a part-time manner (during my legal studies in Helsinki U) to help with account management. We worked with TEKES and among other things I was guest speaker at Konesalifoorumi, the main frame coalition of FInland.

Director

You know when you are driving along and all of a sudden the road ends and there is a decision to be made: either you ford over to the island resort you are headed for or you drive onto one of the Finferries road ferries to make the crossing in comfort and safety. I recommend the latter as I'm one of the many people who are there to make sure operations are safe, smooth, ecological and running without breaks in service. One of our newer innovations made it into the media a while back: an autonomously running ferry. Yes, you read it correctly. You will in the future be able to do the crossing on a fully electrified and AI operated road ferry, compliments of Finferries. For the time being we're still in testing phase.
