The internship at stride was a wonderful mix of both software development and research problems.
- Worked on an in house testing tool.
- Built a text classifier for classifying Japanese text.
- Worked on web scraping using selenium.
-Developed backend for application prototypes that dynamically detected entity sentiments.

Software developer Intern

The work primarily involved developing modules that utilize the power of parallel computing using MPI, to ease the computations in a flow solver. OpenMPI and Fortran were the major tools and languages used.

HPC Research Intern

Worked as a deep learning research intern at MILE lab (Medical Intelligence and Language Engineering) under Dr AG Ramakrishnan
- Worked on alternate methods of Super Resolution (paper accepted at INDICON 2017)
- Data processing of Indic Languages for NLP related tasks.
- Worked on model compression in pre trained neural networks.

Research Intern

Worked on deep learning based Video Analytics for the "Smart Cities" initiative by the Ministry of Urban Development and also on computer vision tasks for drones.

Project Assistant

Worked as a deep learning intern.
- Worked on object detection and scene text recognition models in Caffe.
- Worked on deep learning based OCR engine.
- Was responsible for the deep learning pipeline.
