CampusX was a participant of the Peerlist December Hackathon.
CampusX aims to streamline the management of educational institutions by offering a simple, intuitive, and feature-rich platform. The app is designed to cater to administrators, students, and teachers, ensuring that each user has access to tools relevant to their roles. Developed using Next.js for the frontend and Appwrite for backend services, this project is built as part of a three-day hackathon.
Features
Public Pages: Includes pages for app features, pricing tiers, about us, and a "Request a Quote" form for schools to submit details for personalized pricing.
Login Options:
Admin Portal: Fully functional.
Student Portal: Disabled (under development).
Teacher Portal: Disabled (under development).
Admin Dashboard: Streamlined options for administrators:
New Student and Teacher Registration: Manage profiles.
Planned Features: Fee Management, Grade Management, Schedule Management, Parent Communication, Analytics, Event Management, Library Management, and Support.
Sidebar: Contains tabs for student, teacher, and class lists with options to view profiles and insights. Includes placeholders for Attendance, Settings, Notifications, Logout, and Profile options (under development).
Inspiration
When I was in school, we used a system like this, but it was very hard to use. The design was messy, and there were too many features that no one needed. Simple tasks became difficult because of the confusing layout. I wanted to create something better. CampusX is my way of solving that problem by making a tool that is easy to use, focuses on what’s important, and helps schools work more efficiently without unnecessary complications.

Add data analytics for actionable insights.
Develop a mobile app for better accessibility.
Integrate AI for automation and personalized learning.
Enable third-party integrations like payment gateways.
Allow UI customization for school branding.
Expand support for multi-school subscriptions.
By addressing the shortcomings of existing solutions, CampusX aspires to set a new standard for school management applications, empowering institutions to focus on education while simplifying administrative processes.
