We, from the CSR (Collegiate Social Responsibility) club of PES University, went to Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Bengaluru and volunteered in cleaning the botanical garden as an initiative of "Swacch Bharat Abhiyan" on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2, 2018 under the guidance of Sri M R Doreswamy, Chancellor, PES University. The event was graced by the presence of KNB Murthy (Vice Chancellor), Krishnamurthy (Registrar) and HODs of various departments. About 200 students participated in this cleanliness drive and we were able to remove and segregate a very large amount of trash.
