As the founder of DesignCraft Bootcamp, my mission has been to forge a path for designers seeking to elevate their careers. With a hands-on approach, I've had the privilege of mentoring over 30 aspiring and seasoned designers, focusing on enhancing their design acumen and skill set.

Founder & Mentor

At Avenue Code, I was part of an ambitious project to create an immersive virtual experience at Starbucks coffee farm in Costa Rica. Using Matterport technology and collaborating with the Starbucks Coffee Education team, I was responsible for developing experience concepts, high fidelity prototyping, and user tests.

✓ Conceived user journeys and high-fidelity concepts to translate on-site tours into an online experience with more than 11 chapters.
✓ Designed the virtual experience website, immersive virtual reality tour, and an online field journal available in 8 languages.
✓ Facilitated user testing sessions with more than 8 Starbucks partners spread across the globe.

I was also responsible for designing Avenue Code's design team website and presentations to showcase its design services.

Principal Product Designer

As the leader of a team of UI/UX designers, I was responsible for developing the strategy and design for all required product features in collaboration with clients' business teams. I oversaw projects from inception to completion, including designing initial concepts, giving strategic advice, and ensuring timely delivery by the design team.

✓ Recruited, trained, and managed over 12 designers and mentored 5+ junior designers to help them improve their skills.
✓ Designed products that reached over 10 million Brazilian citizens and collaborated on prototyping and guiding 150+ digital government projects across sectors, including public education, public health, banking, justice, and the environment.
✓ Designed the first mobile experience for the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden.
✓ Played a key role in designing Brazil's official COVID-19 mobile app, including a partnership with Apple with the exposure notifications feature.

✓ Responsible for designing and iterating their developer portal, documentation, and marketing website from 0 to 1.
✓ Facilitated product discovery, developing experience concepts, performing rapid prototyping to validate design solutions and high-fidelity prototyping for user/usability testing.
✓ Designed and implemented the company's website using Webflow.
✓ Created Sendsecure.ly, a one-time link tool to share sensitive data where over 1600 secrets got shared.
