Freelance UI/UX Designer

JD Dirty Deets is a motorbike customising and developing company. I designed their motorbike customising dashboard which was developed in the form of a web app. The problem statement that I was working on was to create a design that simplifies the customising time and process and helps store, manage and share it seamlessly. The reason for the UI/UX design was to switch from a pen-paper method to a digital one which can be operated over tablets and desktops. I tried to implement some of the UI/UX skills and add creativity to it. This was my learning on creating user centred design.

I designed the UI/UX for their website. I worked on problems from the business and user perspectives. I worked on increasing user retention and increasing growth for the company through UI/UX Design by designing a smooth flow and human-centred design. From the business perspective, I worked on solving the problems on the product details page from where the redirection had to be done to the e-commerce platforms I worked on designing features at the right place and from a user point of view.

I Designed & Developed their website. I was working on solving and providing the information related to the ride in an organised and readable manner.

Web Designer

Ausmate is a company that deals in pet foods and pet services. Here, I worked as a UI/UX Design Intern and designed a billing dashboard and an internal management system for their stores. This was one of the first UI/UX projects that I had worked and It was a free internship. I tried to implement all my UI/UX Design learnings here and created the best design for them that I could. My learnings from this project were to understand human psychology and user understanding. This project also made me learn how to understand the business needs and user problems at the same time and design the best UI/UX. 

I was working on the problem of simplifying the billing process and decreasing the billing time by reducing the steps without missing any important part of it. Secondly, the other problem was managing all the data across different stores and to create a special dashboard.

UI/UX Intern

I worked as a freelance graphics designer on designcrowd’s platform. Here I worked on various kinds of design projects such as logos, printables, and advertising & marketing design items. 

This was the first project and the beginning of my professional journey. Here I tried to go through my design learning and implement them. This also helped me get exposure to how the industry works and how professional communications are done. In all the design projects that I had worked on at designcrowd’s platform my responsibility as a designer was to create a creative design, user/viewer-friendly and that caters to the business needs.

Freelance Graphic Designer

Plentiful is a store that deals in Organic Plant-based things. I Designed their D2C App from scratch. The responsibilities that I had over were to work on the design for growth and design retention part. I focused on providing the user with a seamless and a new experience all over and from a business perspective I worked on the flow that can increase the retention and focused on designing features that were for growth but putting them in the best places. My learning from this project was how users vary and are different and how you provide a neutral experience to all kinds of users and their needs.

I worked on various freelance platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer.com, Peopleperhour, Fiverr, Behance, Dribbble, Guru.com, Outsourcely.

Here, I worked on Graphics & Web Design projects. During this period majority of my projects were unpaid I had initiated to work for free so that I can interact with people more and get some work exposure and test my skill and capabilities. During this time in total, I worked on 73 different design projects in the Graphics and the web design niche.

As a designer, I tried to implement some latest design trends and worked on trying and implementing some of the design principles that I had learned. I primarily focused on maximalism, and neutralism types of design and created the best that I could. 

My learning from these projects was how to manage and communicate with multiple clients at a time. I learned how design works in reality. It also gave me an idea of how to pitch to clients and how to collaborate and work with a team. I also figured out what
