The Jay Sigel Invitational focuses its fundraising mission on both breast cancer and prostate cancer research on behalf of its beneficiary, the Abramson Family Cancer Research Institute (AFCRI). To date the net proceeds from the event have surpassed the $5.5 million mark. AFCRI, is the research arm of the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania, which has one of the premiere cancer research programs in the country conducting both groundbreaking basic and translational scientific research.
