Nicholas Cheng

Devoting my time to volunteer with GracHaven, a Salvation Army initiative dedicated to supporting at-risk and vulnerable children, I had the opportunity to contribute to a cause close to my heart. In addition to engaging these young minds in various activities, I took on a unique role in documenting our experiences through multimedia.

Through hands-on involvement, I contributed to the cultivation and preservation of green spaces, fostering a healthier ecosystem. As a volunteer, I actively participated in tree planting activities, nurturing a passion for environmental stewardship.

As part of the Youth Expedition Project under the National Youth Council Singapore, my team and I embarked on a two-week overseas humanitarian mission to Ban Ruanmit Village in Chiang Rai, Thailand. Our primary focus during this project was the installation of water pipes to improve water supply throughout the village. Additionally, we engaged in a secondary project supporting the education operations of the local primary school. Upon our return from the overseas expedition, we extended our commitment through a post-expedition service learning project in collaboration with the National Parks Board.
