Mo Barut

I volunteered to work at a restaurant in Turkey to get chef training and learn how to make the food on their menu. My responsibilities included opening and closing the restaurant. I started with waitering, restaurant cleaning and upkeep, and dishwashing. Once I learned how to make the food, I began food preparations. They served Adana kebab and Doner kebab as their main dish. Once I learned them both I started making them and serving customers. After about a working a week there I was involved in doing all the chores and food preparations, as well as food delivery. My goal to learned how to cook as well as to gain experience in managing a restaurant/ business.

Learned how to screen print and improved my graphic design skills. Gained great experience in graphic design and working in an manufacturing environment.

We help plan and organize events for the Vermont youth. We try to bring local teen talents into the community. We also create events such as dance parties to bring many teens together for a fun time. We try to give them an opportunity to show off their talents.
