As a frontend engineer, I migrated a large-scale international product's legacy frontend codebase to a modern tech stack, building new features, maintaining the application across various business domains, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless user experiences and consistent deliveries.

The migration involved transforming a monolithic codebase into a scalable, modern frontend architecture while minimizing disruptions to ongoing business operations. This required careful planning, handling dependencies, and balancing between legacy maintenance and new feature development.

Successfully introduced and implemented an NX monorepo, transforming a tightly coupled frontend codebase into a modular, maintainable structure. This reduced bugs and conflicts, improved collaboration and delivery efficiency, and enabled faster, more consistent feature rollouts across multiple business domains.

Contributed to the development of an international web platform connecting users with construction companies in Poland and Romania, playing a key role in software design planning, implementing new features, and resolving issues within the frontend team.

The project required balancing multiple dependencies and ensuring the platform remained scalable while delivering new features. Coordinating between teams across different countries and managing different frameworks (Nuxt and Vue) added complexity to the development process.

A key achievement was creating an internal component library shared across multiple Nuxt and Vue-based projects, which significantly improved code consistency, streamlined development, and reduced duplication of effort across projects.

Handled full-stack development, including creating small REST API services and single-page apps, while also providing maintenance for mid- to large-scale projects. Utilized Roots.io (advanced WordPress development tools) and October CMS (Laravel) to deliver a range of projects.

The role involved balancing backend and frontend development, ensuring seamless integration between REST APIs and dynamic front-end applications.

Particularly proud of mentoring junior developers, guiding them on writing scalable, future-proof, and well-structured front-end code, emphasizing BEM methodology for improved organization and maintainability.
