DevOps Engineer

As Lab Manager I support lab infrastructure of over 120 computers across 6 high-usage classrooms. I also provide support and maintenance for multiple Polycom video-conference rooms. Lastly, I provided A/V and technical support for multiple VIP events. (all-College staff meetings, industry career preview nights, research presentations, etc.)

As a Teaching Assistant for the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture. I led the instruction of a lab section of 20 students. My role was to grade homework, exams, and the coding assignments of every student in my lab section. I also ran a 3 hour lab section that met every week. In this lab, I would help bring the students together to work on that lab's assignment and facilitate discussions over that weeks' lectures. Lastly, I also taught the importance of version control in the Software Engineering field, even though it is normally taught in 300 level course material.

Senior Systems Engineer

As a Tech III  for the Office of Technology in the Carson College of Business, I had a  multitude of roles. My first role was to ensure that all cyber attacks both passive and proactive are resolved in a timely, but yet effective manner. The other role I had was being a team lead. In this position, I assisted all of other the lower level techs in any manner I can, if that is training them on new software or helping them in areas where they feel less comfortable.

I worked in Research and Development where I developed the software licensing program packaged with all end user software then transitioned into testing where I created a tool to test the executables of new versions of software.
