I was responsible for all online creative aspects of Echo Direct from consulting, creating concepts, both artistic and technical, to designing and maintaining. In addition I act as sales support and consultant.

In the first three months at PinkRoccade TopTalenT, one of Hollands biggest IT service providers, I have done two courses, ICT Fundamentals and C++ Foundation. Both courses are developed in-house by PinkRoccade Educational Services and are well-known and well-respected by IT companies in the Netherlands.

My graduation assignment involved a bottleneck-analysis where I re-organised the ICT department based on the ITIL method. This method became the standard for internal organisation within Stage Holding. As an extension of my graduation project I was asked to take care of the organisation of the Helpdesk and System Management departments. My main responsibilities included managing department resource systems and publicising them internally, giving employees the ability to work at optimal efficiency. The organisation used the ITIL methodology and Apple Mac OS. Over the five months as a trainee and the three months as an employee I developed a good understanding of various types of Apple software.

Graduation project and Temporary ICT assistant / Personal Assistant to ICT Manager

At 24/7 Media Europe, a former European Internet advertising and marketing sales-house, my main responsibilities were to provide high level technical support to 17 local Ad Operations Managers throughout 13 European countries. This included finding solutions for technical Rich Media problems and responding to issues with tight deadlines, which were set daily. This gave me the experience necessary to work efficiently in a high-pressured environment. I proposed the creation of an Ad Operations Intranet to centralise information and solutions and proceeded to build and maintain the Intranet, providing a highly effective resource to our European team. My other role at 24/7 Media Europe was to work with the Chief Technical Officer, focussing on technical issues arising from his development projects including assisting with coding and the testing of trial applications.

Rich Media Specialist for Europe

I worked part time as a Project Assistant to the Project Manager for the new multi functional charge card of De Bijenkorf, the BIJcard. Betafin are the administration office of De Bijenkorf and are a co-operation between De Bijenkorf and Fortis Bank. As a Project Assistant, I worked on creating a functional and a technical specification together with the Project Manager and was responsible for organising project meetings. I was individually responsible for writing the functional and technical documentation for the ChipKnip section of the BIJcard. I learned a lot about organisational management from taking part in the project meetings with associates from CMG, Interpay, De Bijenkorf and Fortis.

The Webbys are judged by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS). IADAS was founded in 1998 to help drive the creative, technical, and professional progress of the Internet and evolving forms of interactive media. The Webby Awards is the leading international award honouring excellence on the Internet. Serving as a judge means I will review a lot of excellent, international digital work. It's a big honour.
