For its operations, Engie employs different messaging providers to send communications using various channels (of which email and SMS) to end customers, private persons or businesses. As these communications are sent for legal reasons (e.g. invoices, official letters) it is important that they are reliably sent and if not the case that Engie has the necessary means to detect the problems early and remedy them – i.e. decide to resend the communications.
