My work with Rooster began as a freelance retainer, but quickly evolved into something deeper. I was brought in to help the team untangle ongoing UX issues and provide design consultancy across their platform. From the very beginning, it felt less like a typical freelance gig and more like being part of the product’s evolution. Most of my time was spent digging into pain points, simplifying flows, and helping the team see their product from the user’s point of view again. I also led the design for their upcoming mobile experience—starting from a blank screen and slowly shaping it into something functional, intuitive, and genuinely fun to use. It was one of those projects where every small decision mattered, and I loved being trusted to guide those moments.
