In the year 1899, the coconuts of Kelly and Muhuta were broken by the hands of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj and since then, as told by him, the farmers who own the agricultural products of Muhuta are given a shawl and the Rashi Puja of the goods is done. Then later that agricultural produce is sold, this innovative activity is cultivated even today. Also, as per Section 13 of the Market Committee Act, a total of 11 members, including 2 women, have been elected by the members of the Management Committee of Agricultural Credit Institutions and Multi-Purpose Co-operative Societies.वाशिम कृषी उत्पन्न बाजार समिती ही जिल्हयाची बाजार समिती असुन या बाजार समितीची स्थापना स्व.बळीरामजी पाटील रा. पंचाळा यांनी सन. १८९९ साली केली तसेच मुहुताचे नारळ हे राष्ट्रसंत तुकडोजी महाराज यांचा हस्ते फोडण्यात आले आणि तेव्हा पासुन त्यांनी सांगीतल्या प्रमाणे मुहूतांचे शेतमाल धारक कास्तकारांचा शाल श्रीफळ देवून मालाचे राशीची पुजा केली जाते. मग नंतर त्या शेतमालाची हर्राशी केली जाते हा नाविण्यपुर्ण उपक्रम आजही जोपासला जातो. तसेच बाजार समितीच्या कायद्यातील कलम १३ नुसार करण्यात आलेली असून कृषी पत संस्था व बहुउद्देशीय सहकारी संस्था यांच्या व्यवस्थापन समितीच्या सदस्याने निवडुण दिलेले एकुण ११ सदस्य व त्यामध्ये २ महिलाचा सामावेश असतो.
