<p>Vela Access offers a fresh take on access control. Traditionally, access control is handled in application code or configured directly in the database. Both approaches work - but they can be rigid, especially in the AI era where SQL queries might be generated on the fly by an LLM. </p><p>Vela Access takes a different path: it applies your RBAC rules directly to the SQL itself. That means it works seamlessly with generated queries and doesn't require compiling or deploying any code. Best of all, you can use Vela Access alongside your database's built-in security, they're not mutually exclusive.
