SolProperty

- A news reader app that lets you read news from different news sources.
- When the app is opened for the first time, the user is asked to choose between one or more news sources from a list of available news sources
- After that, the user is shown a list of news from the selected sources (sorted by publish-time, descending)
- At any point, the user can update their news source selection, thereby updating the list of news in the feed
- The user’s choice of news sources persists across browser sessions

Built using React Native, Redux, Node.js and MongoDB, this app aims to accomplish the following features:

- The app acts as an interface between auto-rickshaw drivers and public transport users.
- The app will track the location of available auto-rickshaws and will display them.
- The people wishing to travel via auto-rickshaws can see the live location of these rickshaws and plan their trip accordingly.
- The app will also suggest pickup points as well as routes to the users.
- There will also be an interface where the auto-rickshaw drivers can view the real-time location of possible passengers.
- Users can pay the autorickshaw drivers directly using a QR Code via our app.
- More features like trip planner to be added.

AutoConnect

• This extension with around 3000 active users on Chrome and Firefox, enables users to watch free video solutions of LeetCode problems without leaving the problem page, which improves productivity.
• When using the extension, one can view the solution videos’ duration, upload date, views, title, channel and other information.

LeetCode Video Solutions

We made E-bloodbank which is a convenient way to connect blood donors to blood recipients. It is an application which lists blood donors and recipients and connect them according to blood groups.
Blood acceptors can find appropriate blood donors along with their contact information and geolocation.

I developed a offline-first, mobile-responsive web application for reviewing restaurants around the city along with their locations.
Users can rate them, favourite them and comment on the restaurants.

TopTubers

What problem it solves:

1.Normally, we come to know about the performance of a student from his exams and other tests. But it many times happens that the teacher is unable to deliver his lectures fruitfully in a way that students can understand. In that case, the students are unable to learn properly and therefore become unsuccessful. We are trying to solve this problem through our platform.

We are capturing realtime live feed from installed cameras in classrooms. Our platform analyse it frame by frame and detect the emotions of students i.e. whether they are confident enough on the topic or not. We then send the results to the teacher and he can therefore retrospect and try to either retake the class or teach it in a more understandable manner.

From here, we also record the total no. of present students which minimizes the chance of proxy attendance.

2.Secondly, it happens many a times that students have doubts during lectures and they are too shy/embarrased to ask the teacher. This also hampers the learning process. So, we have made a discussion forum for the class where students can ask questions (anonymously or otherwise) and teachers can answer them. The students can also discuss among themselves. We prevent abuse of the platform in the form of vulgar or obscene comments/posts by sanitizing posts and comments.

3.We are also trying to implement a mechanism where facial recognition of a student is possible so that his attendance can be updated automatically without manual interruption.

Classessment

• Winning project for Global Auth0 x Hashnode Hackathon.
• Web application which posts bite-sized tweets of one’s Hashnode blog post to increase reach on social media.
• The user can see the Hashnode article split into tweets of 280 or less characters. He will also be able to see a real-time preview of his tweets.

Hashnode Blog to Twitter

Built an attendance manager webapp using Node JS in server side, Postgres as database, and HTML CSS Bootstrap Javascript in front-end.
The app records the time table and subjects of the user first. Then it records the attendance in each subject of the user everyday by asking the user whether the user has attended the class or bunked the class or the class was off . It displays the percentage of classes in which the user is present day-wise and subject-wise.

Attendance Manager

Created a blood group database for the state of Odisha using C++ Object Oriented Programming. Added positions of users as admins, staffs and donors. Provided methods to add citizen details like full name, age, gender, communication address, telephone number and blood group. Added login functionality for admin and staff. Provided search functions to search donors by blood group and city. Users could login and interact via console.
