Gavin Barro

I contributed to a research project with Dr. Tang from the ISAT/Geography department, where we implemented a near real-time monitoring algorithm on the Microsoft Planetary Computer platform using Python and LandSat data. We trained LandSat data with imagery from Microsoft and created a land change score to compare to  the predicted values from LandSat using a number of different libraries, including pandas, sklearn, scipy, and matplotlib to plot our findings.
