As a Director and Group Principal Engineering Manager for Microsoft AI Research, I led a diverse team of
architects, customer success managers, Go-to-Market Specialists, and Software Engineers focused on driving AI commercial engagements, platform development, and community growth. Some of my achievements included:
• Penta-nine (99.999%) Reliability: led the transformation of the infrastructure from batch-computer to a
container-based distribution system, to achieve penta-nine reliability. This involved a comprehensive redesign of the platform, to make it possible for any simulation and AI model to be deployed and scaled up to a hundred thousand instances to meet the demands of industrial AI applications.
• AI Community Building: To connect the $34 Billion USD simulator market with $Billion USD IoT market, I lead the launch of the Microsoft AI community API for simulation vendors, and  digital twins with industry leaders. This groundbreaking service facilitated
the adoption of Deep Rei

During my PhD program - independently developed capacity modeling and customer demand modeling software that was later acquired and adopted by the leadership team at Intralinks.

$ 3 billion value created: designed new telemetry and analytics tool to quantify the impact of Patch Tuesday Windows update traffic served to a billion Windows devices globally creating 3 billion dollars of value within the next 3 years. 
• 4 Trips to the Moon: Using cloud simulation model designed a web of subsea cables across all strategic ocean pathways. This disrupted the economics of internet connectivity and cut the cost of bits traversing the Atlantic of 10 Gbps link from USD 100K to 100 Gbps link for $100. Designed and led the business case for transpacific cable NCP, and trans-Atlantic MAREA subsea cable which connects Bilbao, Spain to Virginia Beach, USA. Because of the success of the subsea cable strategy, MS today owns enough subsea cable to make 4 trips to the moon and back.
• Map of Internet (MOI) and Single-Hop policy: Using Windows update traffic as a lever, ran computer simulation models to measure the network latency of MS traffic to customers around the world. Enable

Designed and delivered a standalone tool that uses state of the art statistical analysis and visualization to provide root cause analysis for user perceptions, turn insights into actionable items. This paired with a demand forecasting solution that mapped the product lifecycle with resulting metrics were sliced using statistical tools developed for Analytic Monkey. Produced ISD (Inflow Schema Dashboard) tool delivered to the Chief Product Officer. 30% year over year increase in revenue by designing and implementing the firm’s servers’ capacity prediction tool using the State-Space time-series analysis methodology with SVM and Markov State transitioning benchmarked  against ARIMA
