A public workspace is a “place” for your API artifacts, and also a place for API producers and API consumers to coexist and work together. The key difference here is that the API consumer can be anyone in the world: A public workspace exists at a URL that allows anyone to see what’s in the workspace—even if they don’t have a Postman account. A free Postman account allows the consumer to actually interact with the workspace and establish a two-way dialog with the producer.

Public workspaces

Comments are a great way to collaborate with your team or to leave notes for your future self. Until now you could leave comments at the Collection level or at the Request level.
We have introduced a new Comment mode that allows you to comment on pretty much every element of the request builder as well as on APIs schema

Inline comments

You can see all of the members of your workspace and keep track of who's working on your APIs at any given time. You can also make sure that all teammates who should be included in your workspace are there. The avatars of workspace members at the top of the screen in Postman are bright when a member is active, and muted when someone hasn't been active for fifteen to twenty seconds.

Real Time Presence

You can access the activity feed from Postman. The activity feed will show information on who added or removed collections, environments, or entities from the workspace as well as members joining and leaving the workspace. You can filter this information directly within the activity feed.

Workspace Activity Feed

You can request edit access to a team member's personal or private collection, API, or monitor. You will need a link to the collection, API, or monitor, or have access to it in Postman. When you submit a request, the owner will receive a notification prompting them to choose whether to grant you the role.

Network Connectivity and Communication with the outside world is one of the major issues faced during Natural disasters. In our idea, we make an attempt to bridge this gap. People are often trapped and unable to reach out for help, things get worse in absence of network Thus the solution we propose is a P2P network, which will work in the absence of any Internet or Cellular Network connectivity on cellphones. This would be implemented using Google Nearby API, which would use a combination of BLE and WiFi. Nearby Connections is a peer-to-peer networking API that allows apps to easily discover, connect to, and exchange data with nearby devices in real-time, regardless of network connectivity.

The network will connect the trapped victims, allowing them to communicate and help each other. Moreover, the volunteers/bots(can be used in locations which are not accessible) who patrol the affected area would also serve as an active part of the network - allowing the victims to reach out to them through the app. The strength and range of the network will be decided by the users (volunteers and victims) present in it. The other issue we're trying to solve is locating the victim. But, in cases where people might be trapped(indoors/debris), GPS might not be readily available. We'll try to pin point the location of victims through triangulaion using the volunteers' location as reference.
