Unlike traditional social networking, Mentorly requires mandatory professional verification via LinkedIn to ensure every mentor provides high-signal, real-world guidance.<h3>The Core Problem</h3>Most mentorship today happens via "random DMs" or unverified "gurus." For junior developers and founders, this leads to "Tutorial Hell" and poor architectural choices. Mentorly provides a structured, verified 1-on-1 bridge between senior engineers and the next generation of builders.<h3>Technical Architecture &amp; Stack</h3><ul><li>Frontend (Mobile): Built with #Flutter, focusing on a highly responsive, native-first experience for on-the-go mentorship sessions.</li><li>Backend: Powered by #Laravel 11, chosen for its robust security and elegant API handling.</li><li>State Management: Implemented using a clean, scalable pattern (Provider/Riverpod) to handle real-time session matching.</li><li>Security &amp; Identity: Features a custom VerificationController that handles OAuth handshakes with the LinkedIn API to cryptographically link and verify professional credentials.</li></ul><h3>Key Features</h3><ul><li>LinkedIn OAuth Verification: No fake profiles; every mentor's current role and company are verified.</li><li>1-on-1 Session Logic: Seamless scheduling and matching based on technical niche (e.g., DevOps, Backend, UI/UX).</li><li>Trust-First UI: A clean, distraction-free interface built for deep technical exchange.</li></ul><h3>Roadmap</h3>We are currently in Alpha Testing.
