• Duration: 6-Month Initial Contract (Long-term growth potential).

• Rate: $25 – $35 / hour.

The Mission

ThreatDash is building a read-only Operational Risk context layer for modern Security & Ops teams. We are a lean startup backed by the Israel Innovation Authority (Tnufa grant), which ensures our roadmap is grounded in verified technological innovation and financial stability.

We have designed this fractional role specifically for Principal-level specialists who cannot commit to a full-time exit but want to own the architectural foundations of a rising cyber-tech venture.

🛠 The Stack

• Backend: Node.js, Express.js, TypeScript.

• Database: MongoDB (Mongoose) — Expertise in aggregation and multi-tenant isolation is essential.

• Frontend: React (Vite) — "Backend-First" mindset, capable of shipping the UI for your own APIs.

• Workflow: Linear, GitHub (PR-centric), and AI-augmented development (Cursor/ChatGPT).

What You Will Own

Working directly with our Tech Lead, Tomer, you will be the Outcome Owner for our Risk Engine:

• System Architecture: Implementing robust multi-tenant isolation and repository patterns.

• Data Modeling: Merging system truth with metadata to create high-value "Context Layers".

• Scalability: Optimizing aggregation pipelines and query helpers for production-grade growth.

Requirements

• 5+ Years Experience: You’ve owned production-scale REST APIs and can justify every architectural trade-off.

• Foundational Thinking: You don't just close tickets; you understand the product context and security implications.

• AI-Fluency: We value efficiency and encourage tools like Cursor, provided you can architecturally defend every line of code.

• Availability: Minimum 3–4 hours daily overlap with Israel (IST/Tel Aviv time) for syncs.
