About the Role

We are looking for a React Native Developer with 1–2 years of experience who can build reliable, high-performance mobile apps and handle end-to-end deployment. You’ll be working closely with our founders and engineering team on shipping new product features, integrating with our React + Django ecosystem, and ensuring a smooth mobile experience.

What You’ll Do

Build and maintain mobile applications using React Native

Implement responsive, polished UI using React Native components

Integrate REST APIs from our Django backend

Work with authentication flows (JWT/AuthContext)

Manage state using Redux / Zustand / React Query / Context API

Debug issues, improve stability, and optimize performance

Deploy apps to:

Google Play Store

Apple App Store

Work with native modules when needed (Android/iOS)

Collaborate with designers, product, and backend engineers

Required Skills

1–2 years experience building apps with React Native

Strong understanding of:

JavaScript / TypeScript

React fundamentals (hooks, components, lifecycle)

Navigation (React Navigation)

API handling (Axios / Fetch)

AsyncStorage or other local storage

Comfortable integrating with Django REST APIs

Experience with:

Android & iOS builds

Play Store publishing

Basic familiarity with:

Push notifications (Firebase / Expo Notifications)

Crashlytics & performance monitoring

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

CI/CD familiarity (GitHub Actions, EAS, Fastlane)

Experience with Expo or bare RN workflow

Knowledge of React Native animations (Reanimated, Gesture Handler)

Understanding of our web stack: React + Django + Postgres

Experience writing clean, modular, well-tested code
