Description: Maven Cost Segregation is seeking a skilled Cost Segregation Engineer to join our in-house team. In this role, you will analyze architectural plans, site surveys, and construction cost data to identify and reclassify real property assets for accelerated depreciation. You'll work closely with our CPAs to deliver accurate, IRS-compliant studies for commercial, multifamily, self-storage, and short-term rental properties nationwide.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Review blueprints, construction documents, and cost data</li><li>Perform property take-offs and asset classification</li><li>Develop fixed asset schedules aligned with MACRS guidelines</li><li>Collaborate with tax professionals to finalize study reports</li><li>Ensure studies meet all IRS documentation standards</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field</li><li>2+ years of experience in cost segregation or construction estimating</li><li>Strong understanding of building systems and depreciation rules</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong technical and analytical skills</li><li>Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred but not required <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" class="break-all link-break text-gray-500 hover:underline" href="https://mavencostseg.com">https://mavencostseg.com</a></li></ul>
