Software Engineer - SDE I

At Docxster, we're rebuilding how businesses handle documents. Not just storing PDFs in a folder. We're talking extraction, generation, validation, reviews, approvals, workflow automation — the entire lifecycle of a document inside a business.

Sounds unsexy. Until you realise almost every industry runs on documents and most of them are still doing it manually, painfully, and expensively.

The problems you'll work on are real:

How do you extract structured data reliably from a 40-page unstructured contract? How do you build a workflow builder that's powerful enough for an enterprise but simple enough that a non-technical ops person can use it on day one? How do you make document validation fast when the edge cases are basically infinite?

These aren't tutorial problems. There's no Stack Overflow answer waiting for you.

Here's what the day-to-day looks like:

You'll own features end to end. You'll sit in on customer calls sometimes. You'll question the roadmap and we'll actually listen. Some days are heads-down coding. Other days you're whiteboarding a problem that didn't exist last week.

The stack: TypeScript. Fullstack. Beyond that, we pick the right tool for the problem — not the trendy one.

What we're looking for: → 1-2+ years of experience
→ Active open source contributor (TypeScript repos preferred)
→ Fullstack comfort — you don't hide from the frontend or the backend
→ Based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate
