AirIQ is an application we built in a 36-hour hackathon called Hackoverflow 2.0
It fetches live air quality-related details based on your location and suggests the immediate and long-term precautions you can take to breathe better and safer. It is a multi-platform mobile application built using Flutter that operates on a custom NodeJS backend for live air quality updates and the relevant precautions.

I built the NodeJS backend, which leverages the AQI API to get results based on the user's location and uses that data with the Gemini API that I fine-tuned to give the relevant precautions. These responses are then pre-processed and sent in JSON format, which is easy to handle on the Flutter frontend. I have authored 3 APIs to achieve the desired functionality: fetching AQI details, displaying immediately actionable precautions, and taking long-term precautions.

AirIQ

College Events Platform is a Full-Stack Web Application for publishing and facilitating event registrations for college or community events. It is built using MongoDB, ExpressJS, NodeJS, and ReactJS (MERN Stack).

I have ideated, designed, and developed the front-end of the website using ReactJS and SASS (Syntactically Awesome Style Sheets) from scratch. Currently, it is optimized for wide-screen devices (desktops, laptops, and iPads). The frontend uses an authentication token to verify admin status for certain pages restricted to the admin. The login information and event data are cached locally for seamless switching between different parts of the web app. I have authored 6 APIs to facilitate the frontend's ability to perform operations with the data stored on MongoDB (login, view events, view attendee information, create new events, RSVP to an event). The website is deployed on the Vercel shared hosting cloud server, and the backend is deployed on the Render cloud server.

I have written a set of Java programs that allow you to fetch the list of earthquakes that have occurred to date around any given location coordinates. It fetches data from the API provided by earthquake.usgs.gov, and the received data is parsed into a readable CSV format. It uses Android's open-source Location class to handle the location input.
I have written a Fliter interface, which I then used to implement different filters (magnitude, distance, depth, minimum, and maximum magnitude filters) to look at the earthquakes near a location.
I also wrote a Comparator interface, which I used to implement different comparators based on factors like magnitude, title and depth, title and magnitude, to sort the earthquake entries fetched from the API.

This is simple Webpage created using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You can upload two images of same resolution, one image as the foreground whose background is green, and the second image will replace the green parts of the foreground image. I used the SimpleImage library to make objects of images for processing.

This is a product landing page on a fictional software product called Hogwartz.

This app was created for Chingu Voyage 45. It uses data from the NASA Meteor Landing API and presents it in an engaging and user-friendly manner, making it both informative and enjoyable!

I built several components for the web app, made it responsive for both desktop and mobile devices, refactored the code to use semantic HTML tags, and separated the CSS code from React for better readability.
