Amazon Mobile Analytics is a service that lets an app developer track app usage and app revenue. It surfaces KPIs such as new vs. returning users, app revenue, user retention, and custom in-app behavior events, enabling a developer to make data-driven decisions to increase engagement and monetization for her app. Automatic export of app event data to Amazon S3 and Amazon Redshift is also supported to enable custom analysis.

Amazon Mobile Analytics

Launched a new capability for the Amazon Mobile Analytics REST API to query KPIs such as Active Users, Sessions, Revenue, etc and segment the data by platform. The new querying capabilities enable app developers to build their own dashboards and integrate with their internal reporting systems

Amazon Underground is a new app for Android phones, which brings together the best of the Amazon mobile shopping app and includes a new monetization model where Amazon pays app developers based on the amount of time an app is used.
