The purpose of this project is to facilitate BI and reporting by accessing the DoubleClick API and sending requests to generate, download and bulk import report files into tables by report ID.

The following report types are catered for:
Natural Search
Search
Path to Conversion
Media Query

For the Natural Search, Search and Media report types, the data rows in the downloaded report files are normalised into a 'Core' and 'Floodlight' tables. Path to Conversion report files are bulk imported into tables as is.

Web portal to host a report viewer object to view SSRS reports on all devices and browsers.
Integration with ADFS was out of scope, therefore a custom AD authentication module using ticketing and tokens was developed in order for UCT staff students to login using AD Accounts.

UCT Report Portal

The Transport Booking system is an internal application used by Direct Axis staff to book shuttles to and from home.
The system integrates with Google Geo Location API to programmatically sort bookings by distance. This is to place travellers who are going to places that are in a 50KM radius.

Leads that are generated by the contact forms on the Direct Axis website or partners are sent to an email mailbox.
The lead automation software programmatically traverse a set of mailboxes for new emails and inserts leads into a call centre lead management system.
The lead automation task currently processes over 25 mailboxes for different campaigns.
This is an ongoing project. New mailboxes are simply plugged in without major changes required.
