Full-stack developer focusing on Angular integration with a Ruby stack. i was tasked as an Angular expert to integrate Angular 1.x with the Getty Images and iStock websites, which used the same code. This required a full upgrade of their codebase to Ruby on Rails 5 which offered many improvements, such as streamed responses for the search page.

Senior software engineer working on an internal platform team. I've developed an agent website called uConnect which allows agents to communicate with new drivers. I was the lead developer of react-digraph, an open source graphing library utilizing React.js and D3.js. 

Implemented API connections using GraphQL and worked with the larger Flow team to design and consume RESTful web services, Golang APIs using gRPC.

I lead a small team of frontend developers that created an automation tool which was used to automate communications with drivers, riders, issue promotions, marketing, and perform various system-related tasks. It used an event-based system visualized by a graph provided by react-digraph. It also had a bulk automation platform that used a step-by-step webpage and also had a similar set of pages for push-based communications.

Software Consultant

I am leading a distributed frontend team for Corellium. My duties include identifying ways to improve the code, managing the worldwide team and frontend projects, and working with PMs and managers to coordinate new features.

Front End Supervisor

I was the lead developer for an AngularJS project called the "Secondary Flow". This website allowed guests to purchase cruise excursions, dining, flower arrangements, and travel arrangements.

My responsibilities included creating features and fixing bugs in the design, working with BAs and PMs to prioritize tickets during grooming and planning meetings, working with other teams to guide the project into successful deployments and builds, customizing the build configuration, helping the team develop features and utilizing their knowledge effectively, and demoing new features to the business.

I worked closely with the backend team to design RESTful APIs in their Java application layer.

I also created an open source smart image cropping tool called NodeImageFarmer to assist the developers implement product images when we didn't have the current cropping from the marketing team.

We used Angular 1.x, Less CSS, and NodeJS, with JSData as the client-side datastore.

Lead Frontend Engineer

I was the lead developer for an internal supercharger network planning and visualization tool called "Networkmaps". This tool used DeckGL's mapping tools to visualize the supercharger network, traffic data, connections between operational sites and planned sites, as well as displaying a live view of all planned sites around the world.

We developed the website in React using Typescript with a middle-tier built in Python, utilizing react-query as the data layer and DeckGL for the mapping layer.

I developed RESTful APIs in the Python middleware layer to connect to the databases and worked with other teams to connect to their APIs. I also used Protobuf to aid in type safety and API formatting for the frontend code.

Staff Software Engineer

I am a staff engineer working on Walmart.com developing parts of the item page and helping to create internal systems and processes that support the item page team. I also own the run-the-business tasks and meetings which ensure that the website is running effectively. Beyond frontend contributions, I have automated releases by developing Jenkins processes and have improved code quality by creating a Lighthouse tool that teams can use.

Document Management Intern

I was part of a team that was developing a web system using AngularJS, Javascript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and C# for the server-side code, including a SQL database and Lucene caching. The website allowed a home title agent to perform duties related to completing titles for new home buyers in a streamlined manner. It would have replaced various applications that agencies currently install on their computers. I also created a proof of concept website in Ember.js to determine if Ember was a better framework than Angular for our project.

Senior Web Developer

Worked on a system that coordinates the actions that a user takes on a D3.js graph with a video that the graph data represents. This involved Java programming, Javascript, D3.js, Backbone.js, and SASS.
