•	Developed Java tool to automatically grab messages from RabbitMQ and send those messages as requests to server via REST API calls. Implemented retry mechanism where service would keep resending until it received 200 response back from server, otherwise those messages would be stored back on the RabbitMQ queue.
•	I was also a member of the on-call team and support any production issues that may arise at any time day/night.
•	Automated build process in Jenkins by writing shell, maven commands on code merge in develop branch on Gitlab
•	Developed a system to update semi-truck software over the air via wireless communication system for over 360,000 trucks. Technologies used to develop this: Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Angular) and Backend: NodeJS, MySQL, Kafka, Java, rancher. Hosted on AWS, S3 and logs in Splunk, built via Maven. Developed APIs for the application portal.
•	Generated test data in Java. Made 100,000 requests to server in 1 hour via REST calls in JMeter using data gen

Software Engineer

•	AWS Setup: Setup AWS EC2 Linux Instances, S3 buckets. Wrote Shell scripts to make S3 buckets SOC-2 compliant. Updated ACL of all public access objects so that only authorized users can access. Used JIRA tickets.
•	Computer Vision: Optimized existing AR Android app using Java, Gradle to convert Handwritten text to plain text in real time using Machine Learning and Computer Vision. Also stores a text log on S3 with users profile
•	3D AR Android App: Modified existing code base for dynamically accessing data. Used Java, OpenGl, JSON and ARCore for Android, followed SCRUM, MVC, TDD approach. Developed 3D Models in Blender, Unity.
•	RESTful API: Developed REST API using MongoDB, JavaScript and used Postman to check if the API works.
•	Tethered Automation Software Update for Vuzix M300 Smartglasses: Conducted standups. Wrote power shell script, automated process of downloading S3 object & updating Vuzix M300 smart-glass app via command line

Augmented Reality Software Engineer

Developed a program in Python using OpenCV to detect lanes on the road. The project was developed using OpenCV, Region Masking, Canny Edge Detection and Hough Transform. For now the project only focuses on the use of camera. Later I plan on using LIDAR to make it even better.

Self Driving Car Lane Line Detection

I took the initiative to bring Zipcar on NJIT campus as we did not have Zipcar with us before. I requested students from my college to sign a form which Zipcar provided me with and then I followed up with Allen Strong from Zipcar NY and I was responsible for bringing Zipcar on NJIT Campus. This initiative and work was noticed by the members of Zipcar and they made me the 'NJIT Zipcar Brand Ambassador' . I have been working closely with them to make things better for the students of NJIT and they have been happy with my work.

•	(AWS) Student Portal: Designed student platform using open source Moodle. Developed entire platform using functions provided by Moodle to integrate with the web portal and the iOS app. Website hosted on AWS S3.
•	AI Chat-bot: Developed an AI chatbot to help students with course management using API.AI in Java.
•	Course Dashboards: Developed instructor dashboards and learner surveying tools using Java Spring, SQL which helped instructors run their class better by providing data on Assignments and Learner Activity.
•	Suggestions System: Core service for all recommendation systems at Stud-E-Buddies, currently used on the homepage and throughout the content discovery process. Worked on both offline training & online serving.

Chief Technology Officer

•	Website Development: Developed the start-up's first recurring billing, subscription based eCommerce website using HTML CSS and JavaScript and got the sales going from there. Conducted A/B Tests on website. 
•	App Development : Also developed an iOS app so that customers can access their coupons from the native app. Used MongoDB ( NoSQL ) to store user’s profile. The app was built using TDD and MVC approach.
•	Data Analysis: Using Google analytics studied customer retention and website statistics. This data also helped in generating a revenue of $6000 in the 3rd month, only through website sales.

Full Stack Developer

•	Test Automation Tool: Developed a Platform Independent Test Automation Tool using Selenium, Java, TestNG,  Xpath, XML and TDD approach, which resulted in net savings of $7000 in software license costs.
•	Report Generation: The results of the test were stored in a SQL database and were converted into PDF and HTML reports. These reports were then sent to the Test Manager and the Software Engineering Team Lead.
