Al Baraka Net is a website providing numerous services to Al Baraka Bank's clients in Algeria. Nexatech was tasked with: 🎯 Implementing backend APIs for several new features requested by website administrators (including search, filtering, and grouping functionalities). 🎯 Optimizing the performance of the newly developed GraphQL API. Leading a development team of four (including myself), I was able to deliver significant performance gains that were noticeable to both website admins and users. 🏆 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 🏆 ✅ Implemented an efficient in-memory cache that achieved 72.4% higher throughput with similar latency compared to “ConcurrentSkipListMap”. ✅ Optimized the product performance on existing hardware, enabling the bank to cancel a planned infrastructure upgrade and avoid unnecessary hardware purchases, saving them significant costs and working hours. ✅ Developed comprehensive technical documentation explaining the rationale behind key design decisions (including trade-offs with alternatives), ensuring seamless knowledge transfer to bank maintainers and future developers.
