Pocket Protests documents creative resistance against fascism worldwide. From backyard signs to massive demonstrations, we showcase how normal people are fighting back through everyday acts of defiance, wit and ingenuity.
We created Pocket Protests because we needed a dose of hope in challenging times. While scrolling through endless negative headlines, we realised there are incredible acts of creative resistance happening everywhere – they just aren't getting the spotlight they deserve.
From hand-painted signs in your local neighbourhood to Elon being projected onto the side of a building to massive demonstrations, ordinary people are finding extraordinary ways to speak truth to power.
This platform is our way of documenting these acts of resistance and spreading inspiration when it's needed most. We built it in a single day using Framer (seriously, just one day!) because we wanted to respond quickly to current events.
We'd love to hear what you think and welcome your submissions of creative protests you've spotted in your community or beyond!
