BookEx - Web platform for easily renting or selling books

BookEx is a web platform designed for renting or selling of physical books. Users can create accounts, list their books, and engage in conversations with potential buyers or sellers.

As part of a full-stack team project, I had the role of developing the frontend using ReactJs and tailwind CSS, while also contributing to UI design. Our journey started from conceptualizing ER-diagrams, crafting UI designs, to implementing core backend systems and ultimately deploying the project on a live website.

BookEx has an array of features including native and OAuth-based authentication, filtering and search functionalities, seamless pagination, image upload capabilities with client-side editing, automated backend tests with code coverage reports, and the establishment of CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, the platform offers profile management functionalities for enhanced user experience.

This project was a collaborative effort with close friends during our college years, making it both a fun and enriching learning experience.
