Day 14/21 - Library Book Finder App by K N Abhishika
Designed a Library Book finder app with emphasis on:
- Clear Search Results
When users search for a book, the results display clear availability status, with “Available,” subcopy, helping them quickly identify accessible titles. The subcopy, "X people recommended this!" builds trust and encourages users to borrow the book.
- Voice Search Option
The search bar includes a voice search feature, offering flexibility and enhancing accessibility for all users, making it easier to find desired books.
- Informative Book Detail Page
The book detail page shows the status ("Available Copies: 2"), cover image, and author name, with a clickable link to the author’s page for further exploration. A brief synopsis provides context and reinforces user trust.
- Location & Directions
Book location details are clearly specified, along with a "Tap for Directions" option. An integrated library map aids users in easily locating the book within the library.
- Prominent Reserve CTA
A prominent "Reserve" button encourages users to take action, while a navigation bar at the top keeps users informed about their journey through the app.
- Confirmation Message
Upon confirmation, users receive a concise message affirming their reservation and reiterating the location for easy pick-up.
- Similar Picks Section
A "Similar Picks" section suggests additional titles, encouraging exploration and informed decision-making for borrowing more books.
