Day 3/21 - Increase The Revenue of an Airline by Barak Hazan
In designing this booking experience, my focus was on providing a clean, organized flow that prioritizes user clarity and minimizes overwhelm.
In the customization step (first screen), I included only essential ancillary services like baggage and in-flight comfort upgrades. To avoid clutter, I displayed additional services, such as Wi-Fi or meals, further down the screen in a clear, scrollable format. Each section is marked with a rectangular dropdown, allowing users to expand and explore options as needed. This approach gives users control and maintains a streamlined experience that enhances usability.
In the final payment screen, I strategically included a reminder for travel insurance, presenting it as a bundled discount to encourage purchases. This gentle nudge aligns with the user’s payment step, making it convenient for them to add these options without feeling pressured.
Overall, I think that the design is intuitive and visually balanced and helps users complete their booking smoothly, maximizing productivity and enjoyment.
What do you think, guys? 🙂
