Day 1/21 - Improving Onboarding Flow by Barak Hazan

I’ve just completed an onboarding flow for a social app focused on the baking community—where users can:
🍰 Share their favorite recipes with friends
📸 Post pictures of their baking creations
👯 Connect with other bakers and exchange delicious recipes!

The goal was to create a smooth, user-friendly onboarding experience that introduced the core features quickly while maintaining a fun and engaging atmosphere. Here’s a quick breakdown of the flow:

1️⃣ Welcome Screen: A warm introduction with the option to sign up via email or Google, paired with a cozy baking-themed background.
2️⃣ Feature Highlights: A few engaging screens to showcase key app features like sharing recipes, posting baking photos, and connecting with friends.
3️⃣ Personalization: Users can select their favorite types of baked goods to personalize their experience.

I designed the flow using Figma and incorporated some awesome tools like Iconify and Blush for custom icons and illustrations to keep things friendly and approachable.
