Day 8/21 - Creating a Comparison Tool for Products by Apeksha Houzwala
The goal of this design was to make comparing products as simple and efficient as possible for users. With a clean and easy-to-navigate layout, users can quickly select and compare products without any confusion.
Screen 1 & 2: Product Selection
- The title clearly instructs users to "Select Products to Compare", making it obvious what the task is
- Each product card is clutter-free, showing only essential details such as the product image, name, price, and rating, keeping the design simple and easy to understand
- As users select products, a subtle indicator at the top keeps track of how many items have been selected
- The "Compare Now" CTA button is placed prominently and activates once the user selects at least two products, making it easy for them to move to the next step
Screen 3: Product Comparison
On this screen, the selected products are displayed side by side, using a horizontal scrolling layout, to allow users to compare up to 4 products at once. The layout ensures that decision-making is smooth and user-friendly, without overwhelming the user with too much information.
