Day 11/21 - Redesigning the Search Bar for a Food Delivery App by Jaishree Singh

The Peer Food app aims to enhance the user experience by providing an intuitive and flexible search bar for finding dishes and restaurants. With a focus on reducing overwhelm and making it easier for users to quickly discover relevant food options, the redesign introduces several key improvements.

The search functionality has been streamlined to display a prominent search bar on the home screen. Users can search by restaurant name, cuisine, or dish, and easily access predefined filters such as cuisine type, delivery time, and dietary preferences (e.g., vegan, vegetarian). Visual icons represent popular categories, enhancing navigation and helping users identify their cravings faster.

On the filter screen, users can refine search results further by selecting specific dietary preferences, price ranges, and delivery times. These options are displayed with a minimalist design, allowing users to apply multiple filters without feeling overwhelmed.

The search results screen presents relevant information, including delivery time, ratings, and pricing. Predictive search suggestions further improve the experience by offering real-time recommendations as users type.

This redesign not only improves the clarity and organization of information but also increases the likelihood of conversions by making the ordering process faster and more user-friendly.
