View Project
I've been blogging for 7-8 years, trying out different platforms like Medium, Hashnode, Ghost and custom blogs using JAM Stack. One problem I've had with all of them is organization. When I write a series of posts, it's hard for readers to follow the story from start to finish. So I built living.so to solve this problem. Moreover, living.so is now more than a blogging platform. It's a full fledged personal website builder with themes, widgets, advanced analytics, custom domain and more.
Check out a few demo profiles:
Living.so offers a multitude of use-cases, making it a versatile tool for things like:
Building your personal portfolio like this one showcasing your projects.
Create your organised tech blog like this one with code blocks and syntax highlighting.
This feature transforms blogging into a file system, letting users create folders and subfolders to organize their content. It's like a hierarchical structure where "tales" are folders and "stories" or "lists" are files within them. This approach brings unparalleled organization and flexibility, making it a game-changer for blogging and a unique feature of living.so.
Easily share your top picks for movies, TV shows, books, and more with a simple list-making feature. Just type the title and it'll add the cover art, poster, or author info, along with the release year. You can also organize your favorites in a hierarchical format for easy viewing.
Your living.so page subdomain is unique and it's a statement in itself. You can choose any one of the 6 available options:
These subdomains are more than just a URL - they're a statement. They scream "this is where I'm living my best life" or "this is where my writing journey begins" or "this is how I am traveling the world". I can't wait to see what you do with it!
With Living, you can track how your stories are doing with our built-in analytics (powered by Umami). You'll see how many views each post gets, which one is most popular, and where your traffic comes from. Our analytics are easy to use and respect your readers' privacy. You can get insights without compromising on privacy, making it a better choice than traditional tools like Google Analytics.
You can choose from two amazing themes to make your Living page unique. The default theme adapts to your readers' system theme, looking great in both light and dark modes. If you want something bolder, the Brutal theme is a colorful and eye-catching option inspired by Neubrutalism design. I'm working on adding more themes soon, so you'll have even more ways to express yourself.
Want to drive traffic to an external URL from your page? Use the customizable call-to-action card widget to add a title, description, and button text. Use the Timeline widget to showcase your work experience or education or both!
Living.so come with a powerful text editor that lets you add headings, images, links, and more to your content. It also includes AI Coilot, a powerful feature that helps you improve your writing by fixing grammar and typos and making it clearer. With AI Coilot, you can add personality to your text, simplify or expand on your ideas, and even adjust the tone to suit your audience.
Living.so has a free plan with basic features, but you need to upgrade to Pro to get extra features like advanced analytics, custom domain, unlimited AI Copilot access and unlimited pageviews.
