CoinKaro – A Lightweight Loyalty Platform for Local Retail

CoinKaro is a browser-based customer loyalty platform designed to help local businesses reward their shoppers using digital coins. With a simple phone number-based flow, CoinKaro enables stores to instantly issue rewards, apply redemptions, and even process refunds as store credits — all without needing billing software or hardware integrations.

I conceptualized, designed, and built CoinKaro as a standalone loyalty system that runs on any device and scales with ease. It includes:

• A mobile-friendly merchant dashboard

• A consumer portal to track coins and redeem rewards

• Real-time reward logic and analytics

• PWA support and multi-store readiness

Currently live in two outlets as part of a pilot, CoinKaro has processed over 21,800+ coins with a 13% redemption rate in its first week — showing great promise in driving repeat visits and customer satisfaction.
