Prep AI – Real-Time Mock Interview Platform with AI Voice Assistant
Prep AI is a next-generation mock interview platform designed to simulate realistic interview experiences using cutting-edge voice AI technology. Leveraging the power of Vapi for voice interaction and OpenAI's conversational models, I built a system that enables candidates to engage in real-time, dynamic interviews with an intelligent AI interviewer—complete with natural voice responses and contextual follow-ups.
Unlike static Q&A platforms, Prep AI brings the nuances of live communication into play, helping users sharpen both their technical articulation and soft skills. The platform successfully hosted 10+ structured mock interview sessions, resulting in measurable improvements in candidate performance and confidence, as evidenced by increased interview scores and positive user feedback.
This project blends voice tech, AI-driven dialogue systems, and user-centric design into a powerful tool for interview preparation—particularly valuable in an increasingly remote and asynchronous hiring landscape.
