Recognizing this, we embarked on a comprehensive UI/UX redesign of Summer (formerly ToastApp), a leading provider of Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions tailored for restaurants, bars, cafes, and similar establishments. Our objective was to transform Summer into a seamless, user-centric platform that caters to both business operators and their patrons.
Identifying the Challenges
Before the redesign, Summer faced several critical challenges:
Complex User Interface: The existing UI was cluttered and outdated, lacking clear spacing and hierarchy. This complexity hindered user efficiency, especially for occasional users who struggled to navigate the system.

SWOT Analysis: A thorough SWOT analysis was performed to identify Summer's internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats. This analysis guided our strategy to leverage strengths, address weaknesses, capitalize on opportunities, and mitigate potential threats.
