Here's What I Built Last Week :)

Or rather, built last weekend. How one tweet by Naval inspired me to build my first vibe-coded side project.

Here's What I Built Last Week :)

I saw this tweet by Naval Ravikant last week and that hit hard. I myself have been a big proponent of building and making. So this was the cue to not look for perfect plans, or sound ideas, just start building and ship it.

I’ve been meaning to experiment with AI code editors for a while to build and ship something end to end, and this felt like the perfect excuse. So over the weekend I vibe coded a side project... just out of curiosity & for fun. 😀

Introducing BuildRamp 🚀

https://buildramp.netlify.app/

A simple no-frills tool to log and flaunt what you built each week ✨

BuildRamp lets you:

📌 Log what you built every week (in quick bullet points)

📊 See your build streak on a heatmap (like GitHub)

🎨 Create clean, shareable weekly journal cards

⚡️ Stay consistent and ramp up your momentum

(You can even download all journal entries as a JSON file)

BuildRamp is super lightweight, free to use and built for indie devs, designers, and creators. Would love it if you could give it a try, and if it vibes with you, pls share your feedback 🙂

BuildRamp is a trivial tool idea tbh, my goal here was to see how quickly I can build and ship a tool including user authentication by vibe coding with AI code editors and learn along the way.

(Few rough edges in design to iron out, few unfinished ideas in the current build, but hey, maybe that’s a problem for another weekend... if it picks up some users. 😅)

Try it out: https://buildramp.netlify.app/

Built using: React JS, Tailwind CSS, Typescript, Supabase, PostgreSQL, and Bolt + ChatGPT-4o.

That high of building fast and shipping something, even if it's scrappy, always feels great!

PS - not sure if this project is good enough to be launched on Peerlist launchpad. Should I go for it anyway?
