For new coders

We can do this...

For new coders

So there I was, staring at a codebase that looked like it had been written by a cat walking across the keyboard.

Days went by, coffee cups piled up, and I finally cracked the code... just to realize I still didn't understand it.

Fellow devs, let’s make life easier. Here’s how:

1. Avoid comments—let code tell its own story (not a mystery novel).

2. Delete dead code (we’re developers, not archaeologists).

3. Test boundaries, so users don’t.

4. Use positive conditionals (let’s keep things upbeat!).

5. Stick to guidelines—don’t reinvent the wheel.

6. Consistent names, not "thing1" and "thing2".

7. Complexity = developer misery.

8. Use exceptions, not return codes.

9. Small methods = less crying.

10. Boy Scout rule: always leave code better than you found it (no cat-written code, please!).
