The aim of this project was to keep a tap of the energy consumption. We recorded the consumption by all the appliances and warned the user when the limit was reached. The appliances were then shut down, until and unless the user opted to switch them ON again. We used a Raspberry Pi as our main central controlling system and a local server to store the data.
