BoringCall is simply that. a BORINGLY simple, app-free, and reliable international calling provider. Launching in New Zealand and Australia first, helping those connect to over 200+ countries at affordable and cheap international calling rates.

After learning that Skype was officially being folded into Microsoft. As someone who grew up overseas and studied abroad, I've had my fair share of painful international calling experiences—from fumbling with prepaid calling cards to losing access when those cards disappeared or expired to paying extortionate rates just to reach a landline.

BoringCall is a bootstrapped, solo project—which I think means it can be around for a long time. There's no pressure to "scale fast" or add crazy features to upsell you. Just a clean, useful service to help people connect with their loved ones or close their first international client, so hopefully it will be around for years to come!
